Planting: Pit: 75 cm3. Spacing: 6 m×6 m. Prefers deep, red loamy soil.
Manuring: FYM 15 kg+500 g Rock Phosphate annually.
Irrigation: Critical during the first 3 years of establishment.
Importance: High value dried flower buds; Zanzibar variety has high eugenol content.
Nutrient Value: Exceptionally high in Eugenol and antioxidants.
Medicinal Value: Standard for dental care; strong anti-microbial and analgesic.
Ecological Value: Long-lived (up to 100 years); high carbon storage.
