Planting: Spacing: 5 m×5 m. Tissue culture Bheema is thornless and fast-growing.
Manuring: Heavy feeder. Needs 20 kg FYM and Nitrogen-rich fertilizers.
Irrigation: High. Requires consistent water for "giant" growth.
Importance: Highest biomass producer; used for carbon credits and paper pulp.
Nutrient Value: Young shoots are edible (high in fibre/minerals).
Medicinal Value: Bamboo manna (Vamsalochan) used for respiratory and bone health.
Ecological Value: Replaces oxygen at rate 35% higher than most trees.
Ornamental Value: Exceptional. Creates a lush, green "wall" that is modern and tropical.
