Planting: Pit size 3×3×3 ft. Vietnam Early can be spaced as close as 4 meters.
Manuring: High requirement for organic matter. 20 kg FYM and 2 kg wood ash per plant.
Irrigation: Moisture-loving but sensitive to waterlogging. Moderate irrigation for first two years.
Nutrient Value: Excellent source of dietary fibre, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C.
Medicinal Value: Unripe jackfruit used for blood sugar management; root decoction for skin ailments.
Ecological Value: Acts as a windbreak; deep taproot system prevents soil erosion.
