Brinjal (Haritha/Neelima)

Planting: Transplant 35–40-day old seedlings. Spacing: 75×60 cm.
Manuring: Heavy feeders. 10–15 kg FYM per pit + Neem cake.
Irrigation: High moisture requirement; drip irrigation is ideal for fruit weight.
Importance: Haritha is highly resistant to Bacterial Wilt, a major issue in Kerala.
